Child Visitation & Exchange Center (CVEC) Success Story

Updated: Aug 4, 2020

After ten weeks of supervised visitation, the presiding attorneys provided a new court order permitting the father unsupervised parenting time with instructions to eventually increase the length of unsupervised parenting time. The mother expressed hesitation with moving forward, but agreed to follow the court orders. The father continued to be consistent and compliant, increasing his unsupervised parenting time to scheduling exchanges every weekend. After two years, both parties contacted the CVEC to inform personnel they came to an agreement to attempt exchanges on their own accord. The mother expressed that although she still has hesitant to increase the father’s unsupervised parenting time, she expressed gaining more trust with him and now wants to learn to co-parent with him.
