Child Advocacy Center (CAC) Success Story

A 12-year-old survivor was interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center regarding allegations of sex abuse by two peers. Because Kate had an extensive history of trauma and instability in her past, she was personally familiar with the CAC and therefore felt a quick sense of relief after speaking with the forensic interviewer. While visiting with the family advocate, Kate discussed her future goals and how she wanted to help other abused kids like herself someday.
