Volunteer Opportunities with SOS Crisis Services

Older volunteer helps Girl Scout volunteer with Silver Award Project

SOS is always looking for volunteers! There are many ways you can donate your time to help children and families in need. If you have one hour or a whole day to volunteer we can find something for you. Here are a few ways you can volunteer your time at SOS!

  • Family dinners with clients at shelter
  • Childcare
  • Activities with children
  • Answering hotline at shelter
  • Wellness group – exercise class
  • Teach life skills at shelter
  • Cleaning, painting, shelter maintenance
  • Transport donations
  • Help with publicity materials for fundraisers
  • Help at special events
  • General office help
