SOS Crisis Services offers free and confidential services to victims of sexual and domestic violence, dating violence and stalking.
SOS has an emergency shelter for victims of sexual and domestic violence. Please call our hotline if you need shelter assistance.
In addition to Crisis Intervention, SOS provides the following services:
Advocacy means an SOS Advocate will listen to a victim’s needs and assist in safety planning, court or protection order assistance, working with others to help them understand the needs of victims of violence.
Supportive, peer counseling is offered to assist in the healing process. Individual or group counseling is available to help and topics range from domestic and sexual violence to financial literacy and life skills.
SOS follows-up with victims after they contact SOS. It takes a lot of courage to make that first call for help. SOS works with clients to meet them where they are and empower them to make their own choices.
The only way to truly end violence is by preventing it.
SOS advocates are active in our communities providing prevention education to students (Pre-K to College), community members and professionals. To schedule a presentation call 620-343-8799.
