Join us on April 27nd for a Summit dedicated to engaging all key stakeholders in our community on how to protect and serve children and youth who are in harm’s way.  We will be discussing youth suicide – being aware of warning signs, knowing the risk factors and what to do in response.

The SOS annual Child Abuse Summit will take place at Flint Hills Technical School and will feature Dr. Barry N. Feldman, Director of Psychiatry Programs in Public Safety and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at UMass Medical School.  Dr. Feldman is nationally recognized as both an educator and researcher in suicide intervention and prevention, and serves as a prevention consultant to the Massachusetts National Guard.

The Summit is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 27 at the Flint Hills Technical College. Cost is $40 which includes lunch, catered by Radius Brewing Company. Registration deadline is April 15, 2017.

Need CEUs? Attendees are responsible for submitting for Continuing Education Units from their respective organization. Certificates will be given to attendees.
